Vava Dessert Tables ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website vavadesserttables.caand provides dessert table styling and catering services across the Greater Toronto Area. We are a Canadian business and comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act ("PIPEDA").

When you submit a quote request or contact us through our forms, we collect:

  • Event details you choose to share (event date, type, guest count, delivery city, budget range, dietary preferences, and any notes)

  • n8n / email delivery providers— we route form submissions through a workflow tool (n8n) which forwards them to our team email and our customer relationship records.
  • Payment and invoicing providers— used only when you book an event and need to pay a deposit or invoice.

We do not share, sell, or rent your information to advertisers or data brokers.

6. Data Retention

Quote and inquiry data is retained for up to two years after your most recent contact with us, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Booking, invoicing, and tax records are retained longer where required by Canadian law (typically six to seven years).

7. Your Rights Under PIPEDA

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal information
  • Withdraw consent for the use of your information at any time, subject to legal or contractual obligations
  • Request deletion of your personal information where we no longer need it for the purposes it was collected

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on our internal systems, and limiting access to personal information to staff who need it to perform their duties.
